I am Cyndi Lea, the owner operator of this little neighborhood day spa. My spa is attached to my home for a reason. I wanted an old fashioned home feel day spa. Like visiting friends and I wanted to keep costs low so that I can pass these savings along to my customers. I have been a caregiver for many years, currently in addition to my little spa, I work at a local hospital as a CNA. In the course of my career as a caregiver, I have cared for the over 65 crew, and many have told me stories of their youth, and how they used to get manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials, but now that they are retired it was financially off the table. This bothered me, these are supposed to be the golden years right? So, I did my research, training, and due diligence. I went and got a $69 local facial, it was nice, they offered me extra eye treatments, serums, LED lights, all the bells and whistles, I really felt pampered! Until I got to the check out counter and my wonderful $69 Treat....turned into. guilt laden car payment that just about sent me into a panic attack! What I discovered that is many businesses out there are charging EXTRA for all the goodies, and really high prices for the basics. Hmmm I thought, so I went out and got my training, priced out all of my costs, and learned that Yes, you can get quality services with all the bells and whistles for a fair price. Folks just aren't doing it...WELL...not any more. All of my prices are fair and set so that any one on most any budget can afford to give themselves a treat with out feeling guilty. I do not charge ADD ON fees, not now, not ever, what your skin needs it gets. So here if you are on my table, and I suggest an extra little treatment, just nod and say yes knowing there wont be any surprises at the register, its on the house!
My prices are 30-50% lower than my competition, and they aren't lower than every one else to steal business, they are lower because I wanted my price points to be fair and honest, and I want every one to be able to reward themselves with self care and pampering. Now, yes, most certainly, my profit margin is a bit less than my competition, and thats ok with me because my clients are happy, have beautiful skin, and always come bak for more. So, for me, I get to do what I love, make people happy, get a higher return customer rating, and turn a bit of change in the process., and thats enough for me. This is, and will be my retirement gig! I love what I do, and what exactly is that? Making Your skin healthy, beautiful and pampered at a quality, and price that keeps you coming back for more. I love my lovelies! (Thats you BTW)
